I Understand! with not seeing things at night! That reminds me of a story I was in New York State. I was heading back with a few old friends in a park called Chautaqua. Great place to sing aswell. Any how we were walking back. Suddenly a bench jumped right out in front of me. Because I could not remeber if from before. Hehe. So I hit and then fell down or hit on my left or right side. There sure was going to be a bruise for a long time after that. That's how much I could remeber since it was ten years ago,

Talk about a bittersweet (ordinary) day! Alan's narrative of missing one of his son's milestones (hey-Halloween is second only to Christmas and Birthdays in Kid-dom!) made me cry.  Being a divorcee I remember the physical ache of being separated from your child.
....1st the GBS Day.
Then the Trick or Treating rugrats...
Then the Henry Street...
THEN the flying through the air into traffic!!!
Wow, that is one memorable day..( all I did was walk the dogs and eat Reese's Peanut butter cups whilst watching a Most Haunted marathon on TV)  :-)
