I CANNOT PURCHASE THIS IN THE U.S.!!!!! As you have plenty of fans here in the US, it's kinda unfair to only release this single in Canada. Please release this in the US very soon!!!!!

You can be as (seemingly) tired as you want Smack. You're in Canada and can download the song from Itunes if you want. It's awful easy to be tired of negativity when you already have what others are asking for.

Kay, I don't have Itunes. :) I listen to music only on my computer. Yes, that is my choice.

At least you have a choice. Not us, especially those of us on dial up. So maybe you should leave this to the people it concerns?

THAT is exactly what I am talking about with the negativity.  Incredible.

Cool. I hope you can make the single available in the US (and other) iTunes stores as well. I'm sure the contract/legal end of the music business is less straightforward than it seems, especially when you're different labels in different countries. (I'm guessing that's the difference in this case.) Until then, I've got a great reason to hit the GBS homepage for a listen every morning. :-)

Thanks for the advance listen on the homepage and MySpace for those of us that aren't in Canada!

Okay, obviously I'm just another one of the US fans on this one, I went to the iTunes and put all my information in before like an idiot I realized that it was for Canadians only.  And while it is driving me crazy, that I can't download it onto my iPod, I do understand the redtape of the music business.  Ah well...only another month and a half before we can get it.  I suppose there is always the choice of moving to Canada -- I mean, I've looked for jobs and everything (lol).

Looking forward to the new album and this is just one more reason for the anticipation.

Canada would welcome all of you should you choose to move here. :)
At the moment, it is only available on Canadian iTunes, but it will be added to other iTunes stores shortly. When it's up, we'll let you know.

For most of the previous comments ...let it go, let it go, this is smaller then you know. It's no bigger then a pebble lying on a gravel road ...(Let It Go from Something Beautiful). Long live GBS!!!

Nicopop, thank you for responding. Lots of other people putting in their 2 cents here, but an answer from someone who has the facts is what works. :)

To my fellow GBS fans from outside of Canada, be patient.  Remember good things come to those who wait.

What about the group page on Facebook?  Can you not hear a sample there?

Actually I should clarify that I am Canadian.  The single is strong BTW.  Certainly a far more layered song than what they have done in the past.  The use of Orchestral bells and strings adds something to the overall inspiring message of the song.

I've played "When I am King" ever since it came out before entering an important business meeting.  Perhaps I now have a second song to alternate with...

Was "Here and Now" co-written with Chris Trapper from the Push  Stars? Great song... has the same feel/vibe as "Yearning To Be Burning" from Chris Trapper's last CD, "Hey You".

Looking forward to hearing the rest of the album!

Patiently waiting, well not so patiently waiting.  ha! ha! I am so looking forward to this CD coming out.  It's been too long since I had some new GBS music.  My son and I drove up north yesterday for Mother's Day and played Great Big Sea all the way up and all the back.  :-)
