Ah, good on ya lads...Alan: brilliant writing. really nice to hear that you feel the same as the rest of us about winter. Congrats on the new album, and the stir. Great to have you aboard again.

It is "Oysterband" not "Oyster Band".  Alan wrote it right, so why did you change it and make it wrong?

Well, The Pogues still play Ireland and Great Britain every year.  Oysterband played Hamburg recently and will play loads of other European cities this year - so Europe is worth a visit ;-)

Weather, we Gemini's DO require ALOT of SUNSHINE to keep our cheerie demeanor ... nothing  AC/DC's   Back In Black  CRANKED
  & a triple shot Starbucks Venti Carmel Mack-E-ah-toe : )
                        can't transcend...
                            but grey days do SUCK!

But, hang in there ... I do hear the crocus's croaking -they will be shooting up soon.    Instead of watching our US local news- Metro-Detroit, which is nothing but the "if it bleeds... it leads" garbage ~ I am watching your CBC News - thanks again for the Newfound/Labradour promo commerical - I see your weather ... UG ... and the royal dumping of snow you received in the past week.  Poor Rock !

Thanks for the You Tube of Shamrockfest with your Aussie bud Russell - very nice !  Please let him know how much GBS fans appreciate his talents - I listened to the CD you did together.  Good work - he has a very nice voice!      CD Release Date June - Ug !

ps - thought with your shy persona -
       you would be driv'in a red ve'hicle   : )

Great that your St. Paddy’s day was such a good time. The show in DC was really exciting not as intimate as the Bowery Ballroom but variety is the spice of life. I can’t wait for the next NYC show.  Toronto must be a great place to film all you handsome fellows but I keep seeing a video with you on a schooner at South Street. A bit of rowing in front of the boathouse in Central Park would be nice. Certainly it would be fine to film the band on Mermaid Ave. in Coney Island (awesome Pizzeria a block away on Neptune Ave.)  ah a New Yorker’s dream. Anyhow the best cure for the winter doldrums is a good hot yoga class hot bikram, hot vinyasa, hot power core all will remind you that when summer comes…

I was hoping to catch these lads in the states. I can only drive to Canada so many times, considering I only have a few vacations days left at work. Alan, I know you got some pull with these guys, tell 'em
to make a stop in Philly. I feel a little spoiled. Saw the Pogues on March
13th and GBS on the 14th. By the way, the house of blues show in AC
sent me back to Philly with goose bumps. The opening song "Tonight"
was awesome. Looking forward to the new CD.

Hi Allan, I am from Germany (North). I have heard that the Oysterband booked so far to this years festival at Tonder, Denmark. Are you and GBS there, too?
