I voted based on who I thought did the best rendition of the song.  If I had known the cute factor was going to win...  Well, I just hope those kids get to use the tickets, instead of just their parents.  I guess if it was my kids, I'd sure be proud--but I do agree that it would have been a good idea to have a separate category for kids.  Maybe if there's another contest, this might be incorporated in?

Not everyone will be pleased with the outcome of any contest such as this. I think what happened in the end was a protest vote by those that didn't make it. We've been playing GBS covers for about 14 years and every CD that GBS released was a lot of fun to learn, and the latest was no exception. We had a ball with it! We promote the boys every chance we get too! This type of contest is not set up from Alan's or Bob's or Sean's laptop. I believe that all the post contest suggestions and comments are important WILL be read by the GBS boys, and the next one, or anything similar, will probably have a better chance of pleasing a lot more people. "Up she comes!"
