Wanted to comment on Olympics. Just got back from Vancouver. I was working press conf during the Olympics. I worked the Press Conf that Alan was at. One of the best press conferences of the games by far. Unfourtunately he had to leave early. He was up there for about 10-15 minutes at the begining. After the conf was over, reporters were coming up to me asking who that guy was and what's his story. Alan worked that room like it was nobodys business. He talked about his grandfather, life back home and even said the show was going to be like one big Kitchen party(they played at the Medal cerm. the same night) The best was when the organisers from VANOC(important olympic people) asked him to sing something, at the end of his 15 minutes. They wanted him to sing ordinary day. NOPE .. he sang Rant and Roar. AWESOME! Even got me a bit emo. I was given tickets to see the concert. Best Kitchen party I've ever been too. Now that I'm living in Edmonton, I never get to see them. Keep'n my fingers crossed they head out this way. You did the East Coast proud.
