Hi Guys
Saw in you London, On.
You made a Newfoundlander proud, especially after me talking up NL for 35 years on the radio here. Now they get it.
Just bought a summer home back in Summerford. Drop in anytime
Cheers

To Alan, Sean & Bob,
Known to all of us as Great Big Sea. I am writing to you in regard to your recent Madison, WI show.
My fiancée and I had tickets for this show and we were very excited to be seeing you, even more so for Kathy because it was her first time seeing you live. I had seen you the year before in Milwaukee, WI.
We were enjoying your performance very much that Thursday in Madison when I got the call on my cell phone. You gentlemen had just went on your break. The call was from my sister in Milwaukee where we live.
My mother had undergone a life saving operation at UW Madison hospital the day before your show and had faired well, but the next night, halfway through your show they said she wouldn’t make it through the night.
So we ran unwantingly in disbelief from that little theatre to our car, your songs in our heads, scared and trying to find the hospital that we knew had to be close by.
I would just like to say to you three gentlemen from the deepest holdings of my heart – Thank you!!
In our fear and grief, my fiancée and I put in your new CD as we searched for the hospital. As always, your music, charm and melodies made us feel more at peace and put us in better spirits for any news at the hospital.
There is not a day that when I’m feeling down or blue, even angry, all I have to do is put in one of your CD’s and I can’t help but be happy and move around the room. All my cares go away. The first time I heard you it stirred my soul and it still does.
I’m sorry we missed your show, very sorry, but blessed be my mother fought back until 2:30 that morning and is doing a little better now. Not out of the dark yet, but doing better than that night.
So thank you guys for always being there for me when I need you in my darkest hours. You have saved me many times, and I know you always will!
Hope to see you again soon!
Don’t forget Milwaukee.
God Bless you all for the work you do.
Michael Bichanich and Kathy
