I feel very proud of the guys.

They always come across to me as a band of iron-willed, road warriors that has carved its own path in an often superficial and fickle industry. Great Big Sea has earned a place in fans' hearts many times over, moment by moment, mile by mile.

Gold & platinum records aside, GBS tours always inspire and bring me JOY. I've been lucky enough to see a live show recently and only hope I can cheer, clap, and sing heartily enough to reward all the energy the band puts out there.

I want to be lining up for GBS shows when they release their 30th gold or platinum album and I'm 70. I plan to be.
