I wish I had won passes....but nonetheless I will be there and would not miss out on such an opportunity, especially to celebrate my birthday tonight!

It will be a fabulous show tonight. My baby daughter won tickets and is ouut of her head with excitement.

Ironically, we (Claymore) were performing at The James Joyce a couple of years ago, and the boys of GBS came down and hung out, after their corporate gig. They were extremely friendly, down to earth, and supportive of our playing. It really showed how much they are passionate about their music and fans.

Perhaps the party will move to Jameson in Brentwood Mall afterwards. A Newfoundland Clambake and Screeching In Ceremonies, and Claymore perfoming are on the agenda.

No tickets are available to purchase for tonight or tomorrow's shows, but head down to the venue and try your luck. We're not lying when we say people without passes in Ottawa and Toronto got lucky!

Show was AMAZING last night in Calgary!!

There is nothing better than being that close and having it be such a relaxed atmosphere.
The new songs played were great, the covers they did (Land Down Under) were awesome!

I hope the new album means a tour this summer

WOW, I've never been lucky enough to see GBS live. Well, I can honestly say....the best show I have ever seen!! What an amazing atmosphere to see such great talent!! Felt like you were at an "East Coast Kitchen Party"

It was a totally great show! I love the fact that Alan sign autographs for everyone and was just to nice! I think I heard them mention during the show that they are doing a tour this fall.

Not to worry, da' boys didn't show up at Jamesons, at least not while we were still playing or packing up. They were likely heading out to Vancouver right away. Otherwise, I am sure they would have come out for a pint or two!

Concert was great!  Loved the plug for Fraid Knot too at the end (lol). The lads hung around for a bit...Sean until close. Great bunch and a special performance.  Glad we could be a part of it in the audience.

Man o'man...I was so buzzing after the boy's small kitchen party at the Joyce last night.  I don't know how they're able to keep this pace up.  To Sean...here's a little Red Breast for you boy!

The show last night was one to remember forever. It was by far the best concert i have ever been to! I better hear that Calgary is a stop on the Fortunes Favor tour. Between the red breast... 5 hot men and awesome crowd of Great Big Sea fans, it was the best birthday present I could ask for!

SEAN.. im taking you up on that offer for chocolate cake shots at the black dog on george street! If theres anywhere we can post pictures for the boys to see... let me know!
