I'm feeling pretty jipped by GBS... I've been verbally promoting these guys to friends and family and even our local paper for YEARS and have they come even close to our town??? No... not that they owe me anything, but I keep getting all these newsletters with 'breaking concert dates' ... all for USA!!!  Did the boys forget about their Canadian DIE HARD fans?? And I don't mean just the folks from Atlantic Canada... what about us out West???  I'm feeling really jipped cuz I've been waiting and waiting and WAITING to see my favorite band live for so many years only to see them pass up small Canadian towns just to make the big $$ in the USA... it's a shame... they probably don't even know where Kamloops is I guess...  :o(  Well just so you know, boys, it's in Interior BC... and there's fans like me who've been sulking on the curb for years waiting for you to come...

I guess slickrick does have a point... I can't really remember the last time I saw you guys perform over here in Halifax. It might have been the Junos... did you guys perform then? Oh my memory is awful! But then again, if I can't remember quite when it was, maybe that means it's time for another show! You guys are my all-time favourite band, I've been listning to you since I was a baby. I hope you have the time (and the energy) to do another tour soon, we miss you up here in Canada!!!

Well slickrick, if memory serves, there was a show in Kamloops in Oct/04.  Part of the beautiful tour I think.  I do agree they don't play this way very often, at least not often enough for my liking, but they do come.

They played Kelowna a few years back and Vernon too. Maybe Kamloops, but Vernon is close enough for it not to make a difference. They even played Prince George a few times. I don't think their US shows make anywhere near the money the Canada ones do.

Please, Please, Please, come back to New York City or Long Island again. We saw GBS last year in NYC and it was the best show I have ever seen!

Mr Doyle, I don't read these much,- I'm not comfortable reading other folks journals- even if they are meant to be read,  but I wanted to say thanks for all the wonderful memories and friendships that your music and this site have given rise to. Thanks for writing, so many of your fans enjoy it so much.

Alan ... recently discovered GBS on a PBS airing of the "GBS Live Concert"@ 3am when I just could not sleep. Could not believe my eyes! When I found your CD/DVD during the holidays, nothing else has been playing!  WOW, I have been going to concerts for so many years, but HAVE NEVER SEEN ANYTHING LIKE GBS! : )  You redefine audience participation!!!  You really know how to lead a concert party!

revenez nous visiter a winnipeg bientot,s.v.p. come back soon. we live in a small french town just outside of winnipeg. last time you b'ys came down; il y avait une tempete and we couldn't get to see the show. we hoped that you were going to come back soon but all your touring dates are for the u.s.a.. pleased that our neighbors to the south will get the opportunity to have the gbs experience, but after a very long winter, -50 below weather and no canadian dates in sight, this "prairie"-timer is feeling a little left out in the cold.
