Enjoy the month of rest, its well deserved. Reflecting back on this past tour I was lucky enough to catch you 5 times between secret shows, the amphitheatre, tv tapings and country rocks... all were awesome. Thank you so much. You guys have become my end of term, end of project treat. I'll be looking forward to seeing you all again in March.

Congrats on the Great Big Give. I tried to offer my services as a volunteer to assist, but alas was too late. Maybe next year...

Glad to hear you will soon be home with your friends and family; and a whole month off to enjoy with those you love most.

I was lucky enough to catch six of your shows this year and enjoyed every single one of them! You Boys rock and you're great to your fans on stage as well as off. Your rest is well deserved - ENJOY! A blessed Christmas to you and your families and please God we will see you next year !

This is about the 8th or 9th concert that i have seen GBS perform and i tell i'll never miss a show.
I go every year and it never fails, i freggin love it,
It's somethign that i look forward to every year.
They are definately my favourite band EVER...
The only sad thing is is that i have never meet any of them personally and that's something that i would love to do.
So Alan if your ever reading this hopefully you can email me and when you guys come back to vancouver you can make it happen for me.
I actually know a very close and personal frioend of your that i will not mention a name on here but here's the initials M.P of upper hamerst cove.
Anyway taht's all i'll say on here,hope you get the message and we can all meet sometime soon.

Like the others, I had wonderful time at the shows...and now I'm counting too...6 GBS shows this year. Awesome. The only one I was planning on initially was the one-set, mob scene at Country Rocks in Halifax--my least favourite--so I feel very fortunate this year.

Much appreciation to everyone--you, Sean, Bob and the crew for working so hard all the time and making it look easy. Thanks to you in particular for the energy and joy you bring. Amazing.

And, okay, one more thank you, this time for putting Oh Yeah and Dream to Live on the set list. Okay, I'll stop now 'cause someone's about to snipe me. hahaha. :D

Merry Christmas and a Fortunate New Year too.

Hello Alan & GBS ( B'ys, Louis, JP, Sound Guys, Roadies & All ) ~

Just wanted to take a moment to say "Thank You!" to you & to your families for all the time you spend away from home & loved ones ~ to bring so much ABSOLUTE JOY into the lives of those of us out in the rest of the world ...who look so forward to your concerts, music CD/DVD's, great Newfie sense of humor & all things GBS. Truely enjoyed the two concerts I was able get to this year. Thanks also for the FTR/OTR's * Tosh's Tails * OKP, the boards, etc., they sure do reach out to brighten so many moments throughout the year.

Thanks to all of you technically savy people who place such great GBS moments on the boards,the OKP & You Tube with concert footage, pictures, hyperlinks, etc. To a technically deft person like me it is a true gift...and is enjoyed to the fullest extent.

Alan, Hope you & your little angel "H" will be making many snow angels while you enjoy your month @home. Hope you are already cashing in those skype kisses for the real thing!

You were mentioning on an FTR before about 15 years. Well, I missed the 1st dozen, but sure am enjoying the last 3. Your music provides so much: calms my nerves~ during my 2 hour daily commute,especially those icey nights when it's a nail biter * releves daily stress~ on breaks & lunches @ work to get back with a Great (that's Great Big Sea) attitude to complete the day * energizes ~ painted nearly every room in my house with my own GBS concert goin'* & makes me smile ~ when I thought I was just Toast ! Never knew music to have so much awsome input consistently... never tire - all other non-GBS CD's only last a while & then it's back to The BEST ~ GBS again.
What a spiritual balm you all weave with your talents.
Alan, try to catch a new series that is out- called "Leverage" - there is a guy on that program that kind of looks like you ~ he stole YOUR hair, but not that great gleam in your eye or that fine sense of humor. He plays a weapons expert - master of disaster kind of guy. Check it out.

Please, please announce a few shows in the "Deep South" soon! I don't mind driving or flying, but the haul from Tennessee to Canada (especially Atlantic area) is not to be scoffed at!
