Congrats on the great numbers for last week. It doesn't surprise me at all that it still sounds good 15 years in. What you guys do on stage lures us all into a most wonderful world of music and fellowship. On this American Thanksgiving Day, I thank you all for your music, dedication, entertanment, blog-sharing and just generally being yourselves for us. I am also thankful that your families so graciously share you with us so often. Keep on keepin' on.

I had similar thoughts as Anne. I am so Thankful for your music and dedication and the sacrifices you and your famillies make. I am ever Thankful for the impact the music and community of GBS have had on my life. I am therefore Thankful for your Fortune, as in many ways it has overflowed to become my own. Thank you.

And I wondered, if girls posing on the stage were a mild distraction, how did you cope with "The Streak" last night? :D
That must have been QUITE the distraction. I can hear the words "I want to be outerwear free, i want to be where clothing doesn't matter"!

Thanks for a great show in Hamilton, Alan, tho my sister never got that drink you promised! (The girl who had the house fire and yet amazingly, our tickets to the show came out just fine!). I felt bad about the 'posers' and seriously hoped you weren't mad about the note my sister brought to you. We had SUCH a good time in what has not been the greatest of times...her house fire which left her homeless for 2 weeks and my 20 year marriage (26 years together) coming to an end...but the show let us slip away from all that for an evening. No better way to do that than a GBS show!

the show in Hamilton was amazing, I felt bad about the people sitting on stage has well, I know how distracting it might have been. though I didn't sit on the stage I went by it I hope it didn't bother you that much. But thank you all around to you guys who bring all of us happiness with your music and your amazing voices.

Let me also be one to say that since today is American Day of Thanks and Turkey, Great Big Sea remains high on the list of things for which I am grateful. And I look forward to many more years to come of spreading the music, and of bringing in new fans to come to the concerts with me. Keep up the good work! <3

just a little info for the guys from NFL, i have a brother that went to school with them and he really want to see them, his wife bought him a ticket for tonight in the peg and is in the front row or there about. he wants to see the guys from home and says Saxon rules. so look for him guys. he use to live in Bermuda, and now is a trans plant.

What a fantastic number of shows!! I, myself was at the Hamilton Place show on the 19th & it was FANTASTIC!! I'm familiar with Truckers Convention & am thoroughly jealous that my dad (Director of Carrier Safety for MTO) didn't receive an invitation to the show, the year that my favourite group was there!! I hope you had fun with the crazy truckers. My goal, is tickets for the March 18th concert in Guelph (hinting at Christmas gifts)!! You guys are so wonderful, keep up the great work!! I'll be seeing you boys in a few short hours at your Winnipeg concert! I'm just as excited as I was for the last four GBS concerts I've attended. Don't ever stop playing or stop coming to the Peg. You guys are great!

Congrats on the amazing week!! I am sure their will be many more coming your way. I can't wait to see you guys play in London!! Although the place I wish I could see you perform would be in NEWFOUNDLAND Baby!! I would then hope I ran into you at one of the pubs on george st. so I could share a drink with my favourite Band in the WORLD!!

Hi Alan ... I'll be seeing you in London on March 19th and I'm already planning my pre-concert Jig's Dinner. I'm sending the invites tonight so that people will have time to get a decent seat at the JLC. Ofcourse, with you boys on stage ... any seat is awesome because we don't generally sit down anyways! So, if you don't already have dinner plans, we have lots of room ..... I'm new to your website. As a matter of fact, I've never even been in a "chatroom" before and I have to say it's kinda cool! No, VERY cool. Almost like being home.....

The show in Hamilton was amazing; I was soooooo happy you came out and did I'se the Bye!! I almost cried; my grandfather (from Pool's Cove - Fortune Bay) used to sing that to me. I mentioned that to you on Ships & Dip III. You said you hadn't performed that one for quite some time. Thank you again. My girls loved hearing it.
I was disappointed in the girls sitting on the state - rather taking turns on the stage. Some people have no tact. Hopefully it doesn't become a regular thing.
Anyway, great show, thanks again.

Kitchener was another energy filled night. A great mix of songs, new and old. Amazing, it was our sixth time and you guys never disappoint! See you in Guelph!
