I saw the show in kingston and i have to say, this is the third time i have seen the band and i have more fun every time. they are such an energized group and it is just like a big party back in newfoundland.. We love having the band here in kingston and would be more than happy to have them back anytime!!

I was at the show in Kingston (my first since seeing the band in Niagara Falls many years ago (96? 97?) Anways, It was an excelent show and I would love to see the Band again and would recommend it to anyone, Next time I hope to take my kids. It was also nice to see Sean and Alan after the show, and have them take the time to sign some autographs and take pictures with some fans, especially the little ones! You are great role models.

Once again, an excellent FTR.

I feel bad that you had to get up at 5...no one should have to get up that early. I get up at 7 every morning and that's early enough for me. Then again, I guess you're sort of used to it by now.

Glad to hear you enjoyed the show on George Street, and that you got to see a few bands play. The last time you guys played George Street back in 2004, I was 40 days too young to go...40 days...argh!

Hope the Canadian tour goes well. When can we Newfoundland fans expect a show huh? LOL....just teasing, I'm just getting a little antsy. I haven't seen a show in almost a year, which is too long for me.

How about those Habs huh?

Awesome show at the K-Rock, although being a fan for many years, was my first concert and I was not disappointed. Great to finally see my favorite Canadian band. I cannot believe the talent on one stage, so many instruments (I especially like the Irish Drum). I would go again tonight, it was just too much fun!!!! Did not get the chance to meet the boys following (maybe next time). You can be sure next time they are this way I will back bouncing, clapping and singing for all its worth. So keep the good times rolling you are the boys!!!! Safe travel.

I was also zooming down the 401 from Toronto to Kingston yesterday in order to make it to the show. I quite agree with Alan that today should have been a holiday. After about 2 hours sleep I was up at 3:50 to head back to T.O for work. Thanks for a great evening guys!

Something tremendous happened to me this past Monday night,
Something that had the ability to both excite and delight.

I should have been home reading deadly texts of bourgeois legalese,
But chose instead the company of crazy musicians with English degrees.

It was wonderful, watching this great band for whom I have such great affinity -
I admit it has taken me many years, but I've finally lost my GBS virginity.

Oh, and I'd like to add (just to get it on the record),
That unlike my 'other' first time, this time I wasn't bored.

Thank you for such a great show in K-town - it really was the boost I needed to help me make it through exams.

Wonderful picture. nice faces on all of you. I was at the show in Kingston. I haven't seen you guys place since the Stardust Picnic Festival up at Fort Henry. I'm 19 now as opposed to when I saw you play there. But you lad's most definatly kicked some ass at the show at the K-rock centre! Save for the lack of dancing room in the stands...

I had a great time! Come back soon and do it again!

woohoo we were at the concert at the K-Rock center and we had a blast u guys totally rocked!!! I work over nights and had taken the night off togo to the show and when we were leaving my 11 year old who was with me asked when we could go see them again:) woohoo perfect i am just wondering if i can get my money back for me seat hehe....cause i didnt ever actually sit in it.....lol kinda stood clapping and screaming all night...and occasionally over come with sporatic jumping up and down!!!! last time i managed to get to a GBS concert before that was around 95-96 i believe in a ball field in arbonear and I remember not wanting that one to end I was enjoying it so much...guess somethings never change now if I could just stop jumping up and down everytime someone asked how the show was.....yeah probably not

BTW... was taking Cultural Resource Management training a just over a week back & GBS came up in discussion of one of the case studies... and surprisingly not be me! Was definitely entertaining.

Can't wait to see you guys in Oshawa on Saturday!! I saw you at Massey Hall in 2004 and the show was awesome! This time I'm in the 9th row which is way better than the balcony seat I had then. My girlfriend is a new Canadian from the Philippines and she's going to get a huge dose of Canadian culture tomorrow night at the show. I've been playing GBS for her every time we get together and she's starting to sing along! We're having a big pre-party at a friend's house to get "warmed-up" for the show. There will be a couple dozen people there. I don't suppose you guys could drop in for a pint??

WOW, reading through all these postings makes me wish I lived in Canada, somewhere near your next upcoming show. Missed you in the states this year. But reading all these energized postings has given me new purpose. Next time you are in the Pacific Northwest, we will be attending. Last time, was at the Aladdin in Portland Oregon. I believe you were having bus issues at the time.. BUT despite it all, the show was fantastic. Man, I am completely jealous.. Have a good one!!

8th time seeing you live (in the "shwa" on Saturday night). Probably the best yet. 2 1/2 hours? WOW! That was really nice of you. Also loved my 4th row floor seats. Took some great photos of the many faces of Alan Doyle. Tried to get the hair flip, but it is hard to catch. Have to thank you for doing what you do and thanks to your families for letting you come to perform for us. 4 of us decided on Saturday night that we will make plans to see you on the Tropical Island of Newfoundland - someday. Tried to get the backstage passes from my local radio station, and no luck, but I won't give up. Hoping to meet you in person one day and thank you for all that you have done for us.

Although I go to school in Kingston, I didn't learn about the tour soon enough to get tickets for that show (this was in July) so I had to take the four hour trek to Oakville for the weekend then drive to "the schwa" and catch the show at the GM centre. you were all AMAZING, Wonderful performers and the harmonies you do are just fabulous!!! best money i have ever spent (including the travel costs) Can't wait to see you again ... and again... and again!!! thanks for the break from studying I will never forget that concert

I think it is awesome that you take the time to keep your fans up to date on your tour. I did not see you play in Kingston but I did see you play at the Kitchener Aud and at the molson amp in Toronto this year '08 and of course both shows were AMAZING!! You guys ROCK!! I would also like to share that I was born in Grand Falls, Newfoundland hence why I choose my name to be FellowNewfie09!! Anyway You guys Rock my Socks and I can't wait to see you play the John Labatt Centre in March'09!
