I think my perfect day would be spent following Alan around and watching him cause trouble (while magically managing to avoid actually getting into trouble). There could be no greater entertainment.

Well I guess that explains where the real security was that night... worrying about the VIP section whilst the folks on the floor dealt with two fights and a sexual predator... god I love the Convention Centre.

Wow Alan I am quite impressed! I would not have the guts to go as far as you did. Though, I wouldn't be at a football game. More like a hockey game for me slyly trying to catch a glimpse of Lord Stanley's treasure. I would only pay for a ticket if Toronto was one of the final teams. Oh yea I'm a Leaf girl and you boys being Habs fans, in my opinion, is your only fault.

A cousin and a close family friend have both won the Stanley cup recently (though not together) and I am told that as much as its an honour, it can be a bit of a pain. Having the cup & its entourage at a party can really put a damper on the evening because its practically attached to your hip & you can't leave it alone... sorta like a fussy baby, but a lot bigger.

Alan - Don't give up on football. It's really fun and the Canadian leagues are really coming into their own. That being said, and I know you are a big Canadiens fan...Go WINGS! Ozzie (#30) rules! Let's bring the Cup back to Hockeytown!!

Hey guys. I was on that VIP side of the Grey cup concert. Me and my buddy from NFLD were right up close and helped destroy that stage while enjoying the sounds of the great :) Thanks for an amazing show. we have pics to last a life time.

OMG -- My sister and I did basically the same thing at a Canucks game (when they played the Sharks in San Jose, CA) -- unfortunately we were still about six feet away from the players when we were stopped by security. SO kudos to the boys for making all the way, it lets me know there is still hope!!
